Account information

• Name, email address (via email/OTP sign-in or Google sign-in)
• Exam stream (Commerce, Physical Science, etc.), exam year, and your selected subjects

Study activity

• Focus timer session logs (duration, subject, timestamp)
• Past paper progress (which questions you've marked complete)
• Streaks, XP, and rank progress

Optional information

Address and phone number — only if you choose to add them for personalized PDF study reports. Never required, never shown to other users.

Payment information (Ally supporters only)

If you support RoutineX via bank transfer, Dialog Pay, or eZ Cash, we record the transaction reference you submit and the amount, to manually verify your payment. We do not store your card details, bank account numbers, or any payment credentials — we only see what you choose to submit as proof of a transfer you made outside the app.

• To run the core app features (timer, past paper tracker, analytics)
• To generate your personal study reports and analytics
• To verify Ally supporter payments and grant the correct access
• To publish anonymized, aggregate cost/usage statistics on our public Transparency page (e.g. "X active users this month") — never your individual identity or activity

RoutineX uses Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication) to store your account and study data. Firebase's own security and data-handling practices apply to how data is stored on their infrastructure — see Google's Firebase privacy documentation for details.

• You: your own study data, always
• RoutineX (the developer): for app maintenance, debugging, and manually verifying Ally payments — not sold, not shared with advertisers, not used for anything beyond running the app
• Other users: nothing, by default. If you opt in to appear on the public "thank you" list as an Ally supporter, only your chosen display name shows — not your email, study data, or any other detail.

• Detailed session records are kept for the most recent 3 months
• Older activity is summarized into monthly/yearly totals (e.g. "you studied 40 hours in March") and the detailed records are then removed, to keep data storage minimal
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting stharunindu@gmail.com

RoutineX is built primarily for A/L students, many of whom are under 18. We collect only what's needed for the app to function (listed above) and never request sensitive personal information beyond what's described here. If you are a parent or guardian with questions about your child's data, contact us at stharunindu@gmail.com.

• You can edit or remove your address/phone number at any time in Settings
• You can opt out of appearing on the public supporter list at any time
• You can request full account deletion by contacting us directly

If this policy changes in a way that affects what data we collect or how it's used, we'll note the update date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users in-app.
